Who this covers

Island Bitcoin LLC runs fedimintcard.org and the hi@fedimintcard.org mailbox. This policy covers those two. Write to hi@fedimintcard.org with any privacy question or request.

Fedimint Card is an open source project. Anyone can run the card software, a till or a wallet themselves, and a copy run by someone else follows that operator's own policy.

The site runs on Cloudflare Workers. For each request, Cloudflare records the time, the page asked for, your IP address and your browser's user agent. We use these logs to keep the site running and to fix problems, and Cloudflare keeps them for a short period.

The site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts. Its fonts, images and film come from fedimintcard.org itself.

Email

When you write to hi@fedimintcard.org, we keep your message, your address and our reply so we can answer you and follow up. The mailbox is hosted by Proton.

Cards, tills and federations

A Fedimint Card keeps its spend keys on its own chip. Paying with a card happens between the card, a till and a Fedimint federation, and loading it involves a wallet. Those are run by other people under their own policies. Island Bitcoin LLC receives no data about cardholders, balances or payments from cards, tills, wallets or federations.

Sharing

We sell no personal information. We share it with the services that run these for us, which are Cloudflare (hosting) and Proton (email), and when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at hi@fedimintcard.org. We answer within 30 days.

Effective 27 October 2026. When this policy changes, the new version is posted here with its date.
